North Dakota’s intends to expand gambling by creating up to six state-owned gambling enterprises have been grabbing the headlines in the neighborhood news, as a result of the probable effect on tribal and charitable video gaming operators.
‘Instant racing’ uses principles of parimutuel gambling, but has faced appropriate challenges in the number of states where it’s been introduced as being, the truth is, a glorified slot machine.
But now a bill that is under-the-radar spotted by regional radio host Mike McFeeley this week, poses an extra hazard towards the 300-odd charitable gambling places in bars and clubs throughout the state.
Senate Bill 2221 would authorize ‘historic racing’ or ‘instant racing’ machines at as much as ten locations in the Peace Garden State. These machines allow gamblers to spot bets on races that have been completely run.
